Program Overview
Group Training Classes
Group classes are not currently running. We recommend one-on-one training instead. Our example: a group class is like trying to teach a kid to read at another kid’s birthday party. There are too many distractions, and it just doesn’t work well for young dogs. When we do use a group setting, it’s to proof behavior a dog already knows.
Why We Recommend
One-On-One First
Adult Dogs:
Your dog learns faster when nothing is competing for their attention. In private lessons we teach the behavior first, then add distractions step by step. Private lessons are $749 for six one-hour sessions, and our Board & Train program is available when you want us to do the heavy lifting.
Puppies:
We always train puppies one-on-one first. A puppy learning in a group from the start is mostly being baited with food and rewarded for being distracted. We teach the behavior first, then proof it around other dogs later.
