I was approached by a local rescue here in Apple Valley Ca about a special case in training a shy dog that had been shot and left for dead in the desert. I was blown away after meeting this little puppy because he was such a great dog. He was really shy but I would be too if the last human I saw shot me and then left me in the desert. Even tho we are packed and super busy I could not say no so we took him for training to prepare him for adoption. He is a great dog that is good with kids, cats and other dogs so he is well rounded. I have to say the only issue he has is being really shy so thats where I am going to step in and give him the training he needs. Stay tuned and we will keep you posted on his progress and also post some of his training videos so every one can learn a few tricks on working with shy dogs. Remember we only use positive methods which is crucial when working with shy dogs and really its crucial when working with any dogs.
Be sure and help us share this post so this dog can get the exposure he needs to find his next home.
